Remember the poppies outside Romsey URC during last year’s Romsey Festival? Well members of Greenbuttercup CIC were out and about yesterday planting some of them in the Market Place in Romsey. Thank you Waitrose!
Here at Romdag, we received this fantastic set of guidelines from our friend Pam at Greenbuttercup CIC (thanks Pam). She thought it might be useful not only to us at Romdag but to our community too.
Avoid: burden, victim or senile.
Avoid: demented and dementia sufferer – instead say: person living with dementia
If you have a spare moment to have a read through, please do. Also, share these around. Let’s get everyone speaking about dementia in the best possible way.
